San Antonio Community Development Council
SACDC actively works to advance affordable housing and community revitalization across South Texas. One of its early developments, St. Phillips Village, was a new home subdivision on San Antonio’s near Eastside, an area historically home to a predominantly African American, low-income community. This project reflects SACDC’s dedication to expanding housing access and supporting neighborhoods in need.
Beyond new development, SACDC prioritizes preserving multi-family housing, collaborating with community-based organizations to redevelop aging properties. This commitment led to the modernization of American GI Forum Village Apartments, a 40-year-old property, ensuring safe, quality housing for low-income families.
To secure lasting housing solutions, SACDC actively pursues long-term financing and community support.
